Biography
Working from my studio in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont, I transform my original designs into quality sterling silver jewelry.
As far back as I can remember, I've always made jewelry, from paperclip necklaces at my father's desk, to fishing-lure bracelets on family vacations. It wasn't until college, however, and my first class in metals, which I began to consider jewelry making as a profession. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design and completed my course of study in metals and jewelry in 1996. In addition, I have attended many courses in metals at Haystack Mountain School of crafts.
I am always being inspired by new things that I encounter in my day to day life. Patterns and textures taken from nature often share a part in my work. As an artist, I am constantly experimenting and exploring new techniques.
Since 2000, I've been teaching silversmith classes in my studio. For more information see my teaching page.
